This is an essential read for anyone wishing to understand the basis of feminism and what it attempts to achieve. I cannot agree with absolutely everything written there, but quite a bit of it is still very pertinent today. The contentious parts will make for some good open discussion, regardless.

Be prepared to read for a good while, though. It is a lengthy manuscript and the language is slightly more technical and intricate than that of the average book. I consider myself a voracious reader and yet it took me a good while to complete it.

With one simple idea- that our society suffers from a sever sex imbalance especially when it comes to power. It's upsetting this was written 100 years ago and yet I am here still relating, but we have come a long way, and maybe if more read this book we'd get further still. Fully recommend!
